About Acapulco.

About Acapulco. A Mexico travel destination and information resources from Resources For Attorneys, a legal resources and lifestyle information portal.Mexico's first great resort destination, Acapulco is a stunningly beautiful city located around a bay on the Pacific Ocean, with miles of easily-accessible beaches. It's truly in the tropics, with palm trees and other exotic plants everywhere. Views across the bay are gorgeous, the sunsets are legendary, and the city lights at night are lovely from every vantage point.

What to do? Swimming (but note that some beaches have rough surf and undertows), working on your tan, eating and drinking at the wide variety of restaurants and clubs... and staying up late (or all night) to go dancing at the discos. Scuba diving, fishing, boating, and other water sports are available, as are golf courses and tennis courts. The shopping is great fun, though don't expect the best bargains in Mexico in this tourist-oriented city. Famous divers jump off extremely high cliffs into the sea at La Quebrada... that's something to watch, not to do! Most of all, Acapulco is a place to relax.

I've been to Acapulco both as a child and as an adult. Of course, the city has changed a lot; the quaint little motel just a block from the beach where we stayed when I was a kid is long gone, replaced with newer, taller buildings.

I adored the city as a child, and I continue to like its natural beauty and its beaches. Though it is now a huge city and very tourist-oriented, I still think Acapulco is an outstanding place for a beach vacation. The glittering celebrities are more likely to go to the newer resorts -- Cancun and others that were small towns or fishing ports when Acapulco was the rising star.

If you explore the central market and other places away from the obvious main tourist areas, you can get a real connection with the people. Many of the tourists nowadays are Mexican, and you can chat with them on the beach. Don't speak Spanish? No problem! Smiles go a long way, and many Mexicans know some English.

The weather in Acapulco is very nice all winter, hot and humid in the summer. Good thing the beach is there!

About Cancun.
Wednesday, May 30, 2007, 03:41 PM - Cancun
About Cancun. A Mexico travel destination and information resources from Resources For Attorneys, a legal resources and lifestyle information portal.Summer all year... gorgeously turquoise ocean... sandy white beaches... shopping from Mexican handicrafts to designer clothes... stunning hotels with interesting architecture, many right on the beach... world-class restaurants... nightlife and dance clubs that go till early morning... Mayan ruins in the middle of it all... that's Cancun!

Water sports include swimming, surfing, diving, boating, fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling. Day trips to Mayan archaeological sites offer you a glimpse of the fascinating civilization that was in the area for centuries.

No wonder Cancun is one of the most popular beach resorts in all of North and South America! With over three million visitors a year, the folks in Cancun have figured out how to provide what you want for a memorable vacation, whether it's total relaxation, going out dancing, water sports, enjoying spring break or a honeymoon, or whatever.

Cancun's history is short. In the early 1970s, the Mexican government had a study done to decide where to put a new resort. A little piece of land in the Caribbean sea, just off the coast of Yucatan, was chosen. It didn't take long before tourists were coming in ever-increasing numbers. Now Cancun (on the mainland just opposite that slip of land) has a population of something over half a million -- and the visitors keep coming!

Cancun is its own kind of place. It's hardly typical Mexico, but it's a lot of fun in its own way!

Beautiful Mexico City

Mexico City is the cultural epicenter of the country of Mexico. A visit to the Palacio Nacional opens your eyes to beautiful patios and halls decorated with murals, which portray Mexican history and culture. Known colloquially as D.F., the City of Mexico abounds in fascinating sites worth a look dating from yesteryears to the more modern and cosmopolitan.

A tour of Mexico City is enchanting for the simple reason that it has almost everything a visitor could aspire to experience. A lively culture, exquisite cuisine, world famous art, mariachi, traditional handicrafts, architecture and the omnipresent fiesta are the range of attractions that the city holds forth for the tourists. In addition, you can tire yourself shopping, trekking, visiting interesting museums, or entertaining yourself at theatres.

The Bosque de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Woods) and its surrounding green space is an interesting place to begin to get the feel of Mexico City. There are many museums to be found here, notable among them being the Museo Nacional de Antropologia, Rufino Tamayo Museum, Museo de Arte Moderno and Papalote Nacional de Historia. However, the main attraction in the park, which will catch your eyes, is the Castillo de Chapultepec. Not very far is the La Feria, the city’s oldest amusement park. Here, nestled among the woods, you can catch a glimpse of Los Pinos, the official residence of the President. You can also make a tour of the Auditorio Nacional, the auditorium where world famous performances are staged.

Enjoy all this and more while basking under the hospitality of Mexico City hotels where excellent services and facilities are assured to keep the guests happy and satisfied.

Traveling to Mexico Soon?
Wednesday, May 30, 2007, 03:32 PM - General
Traveling to Mexico Soon? A Mexico travel destination and information resources from Resources For Attorneys, a legal resources and lifestyle information portal. From the ancient architecture of Mexico City to the golden beaches of Pacific Mexico, Mexico is a country full of mystery, intrigue, natural beauty, history, and culture that is exclusive only to its walls. There are many different cities in Mexico that are frequently visited by tourists, and each has something completely different to offer its visitors.

The unique region of Baja Mexico is one of the most interesting and diverse geographical areas of the world and is still very much a frontier. The peninsula is home to some of the earth's most beautiful deserts, along with semi-tropical and mountainous regions, pine forests, and hundreds of miles of untouched beaches and coastline.

In Central Mexico, tourists can visit Mexico City, the nation’s capital. There you can appreciate the fascinating architecture of the aging buildings in the city’s Historic Center, or you can visit the Basilica of Guadalupe and such popular neighborhoods as San Angel, Coyoacan and Xochimilco. The central region offers the tranquility of its numerous forests, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, springs and caverns, all of which provide ideal settings for rafting, rappelling, cave exploring, scuba diving, camping, rock climbing and nature observing.

The cities of Northern Mexico are a perfect blend of history, culture, and modernism. There’s Chihuahua City, home of Pancho Villa’s mansion. Then there’s Hermosillo with its interesting blend of ancient and modern architecture. Next is Bahía Kino, Northern Mexico’s largest coastal city. Here, tourists can engage in waterskiing, diving, fishing, swimming, and relaxing on and off the beautiful white-sand beaches. Finally, in Monterrey, you will find a well-organized city with a great deal of cultural attractions, both inside city limits and in the immediate surrounding area.

Mexico Vacations Are Great If You Know How To Avoid The Tourist Traps.
Wednesday, May 30, 2007, 03:23 PM - General
Mexico Vacations Are Great If You Know How To Avoid The Tourist Traps. A Mexico travel destination and information resources from Resources For Attorneys, a legal resources and lifestyle information portal. When looking for a Mexico vacation, travelers must consider their desires. Mexico offers sunny beaches, incredible sightseeing, and delicious cuisine. While some tourists prefer to lounge on a sunny beach while sipping a cold alcoholic beverage, other travelers delight in exploring architectural wonders. Travelers should consider their needs before choosing their Mexico vacation because some areas are definitely tourist traps while others are remote and less crowded.

Many hotels in Mexico offer all-inclusive packages. All-inclusive hotels make sense on a tight budget, as all meals, drinks, and many activities are included in the room rate. For this reason, visitors on a budget love planning a Mexico vacation. A traveler can visit a foreign country while keeping expenses to a minimum. Typically, an all-inclusive Mexico vacation can be found for a fraction of the cost of a visit to Hawaii or Tahiti.

Mexico’s largest city is Mexico City. Though the crime rate can be slightly higher in Mexico City, the city is working hard to increase police patrol. Tourism to this city is growing. People looking for a Mexico vacation often consider to Mexico City for the rich selection of attractions. The old-world feel and amazing architecture draw tourists in. Many Aztec ruins are on display throughout Mexico City. The wide array of restaurants, shopping boutiques, concert halls, and museums help place Mexico City high on tourists’ Mexico vacation lists.

If sun and fun is on a traveler’s mind, Cozumel, Cancun, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Acapulco are fantastic choices for a Mexico vacation. Cozumel and Cancun are located on the eastern tip of Mexico. All-inclusive hotels abound ensuring that tourists match an inexpensive Mexico vacation with incredible beaches and surf. On the western side, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Acapulco are slightly higher in price, but the scenery is different. Older buildings meld seamlessly into the scenery creating stunning visuals along side gorgeous beaches.

Travelers that are more adventurous can head to the more remote sections of Mexico for their Mexico vacation. Merida was built over the Mayan city of Ti’ho. The architecture in Merida takes the tourist back to the days of the Mayan empire. Many of the residents are of Mayan ancestry. They speak the language, lean towards Mayan cuisine, and dress in Mayan style clothing. Merida is an excellent Mexico vacation choice for history lovers.

Taking a Mexico vacation can be exhilarating. To enter Mexico, a passport is necessary. Tourists must ensure that they have a valid passport before leaving on their vacation. Beyond that restriction, tourists are open to visit any Mexican area.
